Relax!

This is my summer in a nutshell.  We worked on the basement, put down some new flooring, made some cool artwork with my 4 year old niece, and still managed to get to the beach. Lovely :)

I am so loving this new set of embossing folders from Lifestyle Crafts.  Picked them up at The Scrapbook Expo earlier this month.  I'm still trying out the washi tape trend-added a splash of pink to make the card pop!

I made this baby book for one of our cousins.  I love the paper on the front and back covers.  I used the cinch chipboard and the machine to bind everything together. The paper I used came from the Baby Boy, Me and My Big Ideas mambi sheets pad.

Note Cards and Holder

Tuesday Trigger

When I saw the lace overlay of the blouse I immediately thought of something dainty.  The blue underlay reminded me of something comforting.  Even though the Trigger title speaks of romance, I felt the blue embossed paper and the ribbon would give it the romantic/comforting vibe I was striving to achieve.
